To most of the movie-seeing public, the Magic Mike franchise signals images of Channing Tatum's abs, Channing Tatum's abs, and Channing Tatum's abs. To elementary school children, though, Magic Mike is a loving friend helping a poor kid get to hockey practice, an alien-fighter-turned-alien, and a really sympathetic sing-a-long buddy. The male-stripper extraordinaire played the alternative, kid-friendly roles on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
