Rachel Zoe is making a return to television, but this time, she's making the switch from reality TV to talk show host for a new show on Lifetime called Fashionably Late With Rachel Zoe. It'll be a weekly half-hour dissection of fashion, beauty, and pop culture news set inside Zoe's Melrose Place office in LA and co-hosted along with Harper's Bazaar editor-at-large Derek Blasberg and Zoe's husband, Rodger Berman.
"Honestly, since I was 13, I had always wanted to do a talk show," Zoe told WWD. Lifetime ordered eight episodes to begin with, although Zoe says that the team hasn't started filming anything other than the pilot so far. The show premieres Sept. 24th at 10:30pm, right after an episode of Project Runway.
In conjunction with the show announcement, Zoe told WWD that her site, The Zoe Report, is going shoppable. The site is implementing technology to make all the content and advertising shoppable without being diverted to different retailers to complete purchases.
