Drake's design efforts for Air Jordan will finally hit stores this fall, MTV News reports. Drake Instagrammed his Air Jordan X OVO collab over a year ago, but since then there's been no news about the release aside from a sneaker giveaway at Drake Night at the Toronto Raptors game this January and an LA pop-up sale in April with $225 sneakers for sale.
But Jordan just tweeted that the release date is now scheduled for September 12 in stores. There's no pricing info yet though (for comparison, Kanye's latest Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 just sold for $200). The sneakers that are expected to land in stores are the Air Jordan 10 "OVO", according to Sneaker News. The logo for OVO, Drake's record label and brand, peeks out from inside the shoe's insole.
The #AirJordan X 'OVO' will launch globally at select Jordan retailers on September 12. @welcomeOVO
