Miley Doesn’t Know What Nicki Said About the VMAs, Has Thoughts Anyway

Between smoking two freshly-rolled joints, Miley Cyrus spoke about her upcoming stint hosting MTV's VMAs with The New York Times. She promised that the award show will be "raw" and unlike any other in the past, two things that could prove pretty terrifying. Equally terrifying: The singer plans to go on stage Sunday night in front of millions and millions of people, yet still hasn't done her research on who's nominated.

When the conversation shifts over to the Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift Twitter beef, Miley said, "I didn't really get into it. I know there was some beef. I don't really know," and then said, "I don't follow it." A few lines later in the interview, Cyrus calls out Nicki pretty blatantly, saying, "You made it about you. Not to sound like a bitch, but that's like, 'Eh, I didn't get my VMA.'"

For a topic Miley claimed to know very little about, she sure had a lot to say, interrupting the interviewer defending Nickitwice. She then blasted the rapper, "What I read sounded very Nicki Minaj, which, if you know Nicki Minaj is not too kind." The best line, though, comes at the end of the conversation when she is asked if she has any favorite videos from the "crop." She responds, "I don't even really know too much of what's nominated." Sunday sure will be interesting.
