MTV, once a television channel that dedicated its time to playing music video after music video, is honoring the art for the 32nd time. Although the music video seemed to fade away for a little bit, the craft appears to be back, with clips like Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" breaking viewership records left and right.

The VMAs, the night that celebrates it all, is upon us, and although the nominations are not quite as dramatic as the Teen Choice Awards, there is certainly some friendly competition. Unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift leads the way with ten nominations, "Bad Blood" being responsible for eight of them. Close friend and pasta-lover Ed Sheeran could take home six moonmen, and Beyoncé's "7/11" is up for five. In addition, the award that sparked an entire Twitter fight between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj will be handed out.

See all of the stars who might be getting their very own Jeremy Scott-designed moonman below.
