With Miley Cyrus hosting and Taylor Swift nominated in nearly every category, MTV's 2015 VMAs are sure to be include a multi-million follower Instagram account in every row. Here's everything you need to know beforehand, so you don't miss a potential Bey/Jay/Blue moment (fingers crossed). Schedule your Sunday night accordingly.
How to Watch
MTV's 32nd Video Music Awards will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, airing on both MTV and VH1 at 9pm EST. MTV is hosting a livestream right here, so you can watch the whole event on your computer.
Red Carpet
While there is no formal red carpet show, MTV's pre-show will act as such. Kelly Osbourne and Sway will be hosting, Carly Aquilino, Nessa Diab, and Awkwafina will be in charge of the red carpet, and Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams," featuring Scott Eastwood, will premiere and bless the whole night.
Host
Miley Cyrus's VMAs attendance has always been newsworthy, and the singer is finally getting behind the microphone to host the entire show. This will be fine.
Performances
Nick Jonas, will be singing "Levels," and Walk the Moon will be singing "Shut Up and Dance" at the event's pre-show. Nicki Minaj will be opening the main show with a performance that should not be short of legendary. Other performances include The Weeknd, who is performing "Can't Feel My Face" for the first time on television, as well as Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rocky, and Twenty One Pilots. Finally, Justin Bieber will perform the highly-teased "What Do You Mean" on stage for the very first time.
Scheduled Attendees
In addition to the aforementioned performers, MTV's list of celebrity attendees includes Britney Spears, Rita Ora, Miguel, John Legend, Ne-Yo, Ice Cube, Rebel Wilson, Serayah, Jusssie Smollett, Emily Ratajkowski, Kylie Jenner, Taylor Swift, Big Sean, Bruno Mars, Colbie Callait, and FKA Twigs. Last but not least, Kanye West will be in the house, especially since he's accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Past winners include Beyoncé, Britney Spears, and Michael Jackson himself.
