Today in world meetings: Pope Francis spent some time with Cuba's former President Fidel Castro. According to a spokesperson for the Vatican, it was all super "low-key" — like a dressed-down cultural moment. Fittingly, Castro sported the choice outfit of those who kick it "low key" and athleisurely: an Adidas tracksuit. Like a true trendsetter, he paired his sporty zip-up with a crisp white button down, because it's all about that balance of fashion and function.
Adidas is one of the few brands with an actual presence in Havana, though it's unclear and incredibly unlikely that it has any thoughts about this world leader meet-up, or if Cuba will be receiving the latest Yeezy drop. We're gonna say, nah.
Si @adidas no le da regalías a #FidelCastro debería hacerlo. Son ya muchos años haciéndole bombo a la marca pic.twitter.com/KR8GTP5HNk
