Lady Gaga, for one, celebrated post-show in an even more extravagant look than her black one-shouldered gown, attending the Fox party in a second dress by new designer Brandon Maxwell. (The engaged singer's white, classically dramatic gown was not so far from a wedding dress.) Zac Posen showed up alongside Naomi Campbell, who closed the designer's fall show back in February. She also wore white. And finally, Laverne Cox stuck with cut-outs and Calvin Klein, but swapped her turquoise gown for — yes — white.
Young stars Emma Roberts, Ariel Winter, and Sarah Hyland leaned to the other side of the spectrum, each swapping their red carpet looks for slinky black dresses. The overall effect of the costume changes was to turn the unofficial theme of the Emmys after parties to black-and-white, and elegant all over. Try to pick a favorite in the gallery above.
