Amy Schumer is wrapping up her extraordinarily successful year with a major book deal. According to Publishers Marketplace, the comedian, actress, and screenwriter's memoir landed a nine million dollar contract, also confirming that it will be called The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo. The bound-to-be-hilarious memoir, which was scooped up by Gallery Books, is slated to come out at the end of 2016 in time for next year's Christmas lists.
Gallery Books told The Associated Press that the book will "offer personal and observational stories from Schumer that range from the raunchy to the romantic, the heartfelt to the harrowing." Sounds like Amy could expand upon the time she purposely tripped before Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, plus the week she got her period and lost her two front teeth.
In the statement, the author added, "Believe it or not, there's actually more I have to say." Oh, we believe it, Amy.
