Viola Davis has a lot to celebrate. On Sunday night, the How to Get Away With Murder star was first black woman to win the "Lead Actress in Drama" category. She hopped onto The Ellen Show to show off her shiny new hardware (that she is sleeping with) and to talk about the Emmy experience from her own eyes.

Right off the bat, the actress admits that even her husband was slightly perplexed by the opening of her speech  that is, until he heard it was said by Harriet Tubman. After the show he told his wife, "I didn't know where you were going with that." Ellen chimes in that she suspected Viola might have been drunk. Although she did drink a glass of prosecco before the show, it was simply to calm her nerves, not to have her go off on a drunken stupor in front of millions of viewers.

Viola also cited Kerry Washington, Taraji P. Henson, and other important black actresses, noting that "We were all winners that night."

Viola wasn't shy about the plentiful gifts she received from TV matriarch Oprah, showing a picture of a bouquet of flowers that barely fit through her doors and a $450 bottle of Jay-Z's champagne, Armand de Brignac. Ellen jumped on the congratulatory gift train by giving the jacuzzi-obsessed actress a floating tray of drink-ware, something no hot tub is complete with out.
