While the great monthly Netflix purge seems to always come as a surprise, the streaming service is benevolent enough to offer fair warning of shows and movies that'll bite the bullet. A two day warning should give you more than enough time to wrap up that The Dead Files binge you haven't told even your closest friends about.

Come October 1st, teens and Kristen Stewart fans everywhere will morn the departure of Twilight, subscribers will no longer be able to Analyze This and Analyze That, and Ella Enchanted will no longer remind you that the internet was once altogether pro-Anne Hathaway. Some unlucky toddler and his or her parents will bid farewell to a big bundle of Sesame Street programming on October 15th. But don't sweat it too much, there are plenty of new titles to get familiar with in this fine fall month.

Annie Hall: Diane Keaton and some anxious guy romcom around in this 1977 classic.

Baby's Day Out: Like Home Alone, except filmed totally outside the home and starring someone who can't stand yet.

Cold Mountain: A Renée Zellweger classic

The Beautician and the Beast: A Fran Drescher classic

The Big Lebowski: Finally understand what those high school bros were yammering on about.

Romeo + Juliet: Leonardo Dicaprio and Claire Danes in the greatest role of their respective careers, maybe.

Twilight: Duh.

Clockstoppers: For anyone who enjoyed being a teenager in 2002, this movie will bring back fond memories of begging your mom to take you and eight of your closest friends to the multiplex.
