Rihanna — the woman, the myth, the legend, the alien creature sent from another planet to demonstrate what humanity's beauty potential — just released a series of ads for Dior on her Instagram. By choosing Rihanna as it's newest face, the design house signaled a newer, fresher, younger direction under Raf Simons, and slowly but surely, that vision is coming to the forefront.

Photographer Craig McDean shot the looks, all black and burgundy in a cold white room on lucite furniture, were heavy on the mesh and latex. Pay special attention to the boots, a mix of lucite and latex that ties the whole concept together.
