Today, Adele was finally able to experience the singular joy the rest of the world holds dear: the act of belting out Adele's music into a steering wheel. In a segment for The Late Late Show with James Corden's always delightful Carpool Karaoke series, the singer spent 15 minutes singing her hits, as well as the hits of certain other pop stars.
In between harmonizing "Hello" and "Someone Like You" with Corden, Adele also revealed her Spice Girl of choice (translation: which one she pretended to be as a kid) is Geri; that 25 was her last album that will be named after her age ("No! Now I want one to be like, 77!" Corden exclaimed); and that if you happen to come across her at a restaurant after she's had one too many glasses of wine, she might just pick up your tab.
But the most important part of the car ride came when Corden said, "I heard a rumor that you are quite the rapper," then turned on arguably the best rap verse of all time: Nicki Minaj on "Monster." Though the entire car ride is worth watching, scroll up to the 10:10 minute mark if you're just here to hear Adele spit rhymes.
Nicki Minaj, for her part, approved. She retweeted a fan's praise:
She even does Nicki's hand thing @Adele welcome to Team Minaj pic.twitter.com/cMOazqAKVG

Then asked her the same question she made famous for Miley Cyrus (with presumably a different connotation):
Adele is mad ratchet. I can't take her #UK #WutsGood
