Beloved Bing user Matthew Perry aka Chandler Bing will not make it to NBC's spectacular sketch showdown. E! News reports that Perry will be in London rehearsing for "The End of Longing," a play he wrote about four friends dealing with existential crises in their 40s, when he clearly could have explored the same thing in the Friends reunion. Perry will miss the chance to crack a bad joke about iPads because it's so funny that the show hasn't been on the air for 12 years.
Who knows what will happen in this creative endeavour? Will Fraiser Crane walk into Central Perk and die? Will the subsequent sketches be a murder mystery led by his brother Niles who is moonlighting as Gunther? Will Marcel the monkey and Fraiser Craine have drinks in heaven?
Will Elaine Benes do that dance when Tony Danza walks in and all the Friends sing that Elton John song? Guess we'll have to tune in.
