Last week, we learned that fashion bloggers are bringing in six-figure incomes — much of that coming in off of paid Instagram posts. Now, Jezebel has a report detailing how much bonafide celebrities can make from a brand in exchange for posting just a single Instagram post. Jezebel has the details on celebs like Scott Disick, Lisa Rinna, Jenny McCarthy, and Blac Chyna.
While these famouses are paid thousands of dollars to endorse a product, Jezebel's source found that celebs are rarely asked to even use the product they're shilling. More often than not, celebrity representatives don't even ask what the products are. Really, it all came down to whether or not you were willing to pay the rates.
The most handsomely-paid celebrity in Jezebel's report is Scott Disick. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star reportedly gets paid anywhere in the range of $15,000 to $20,000 to shoot an Instagram post out to his 13.3 million followers. This would explain all the posts promoting teeth whiteners and 24-karat gold face masks.
Jenny McCarthy, with only 672k followers, brings in a relatively meager $3,500 per Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter post. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Lisa Rinne makes $3,000 for a post on any of those three platforms. Meanwhile, Tyga's ex-girlfriend Black Chyna sets her rates by the week, charging $2,000 for one week, $2,500 for a second, and $3,000 for a third.
