Few images can incite a flood of emotion so powerful that it's almost impossible to stand. A breathtaking sunset, a priceless work of art, Chris Hemsworth's face, to name a few. In this most recent case, however, it's a photo of a One Direction fan attempting to take a selfie with Harry Styles at the airport.

One Direction Finally Became a Classic Boy Band

After landing at LAX yesterday, Harry Styles was bombarded by paparazzi, who managed to capture something besides his growing number of arm tattoos: a woman desperate for just one selfie with him.

Behold the woman on the left's face, if you can even handle it:

Look at this face: Is this not every woman who has ever had a crush in the entire history of the world? Is this not the expression you made at the kid who sat in front of you in fourth grade? Or that one hot T.A. in college? Or, inexplicably, your really old art history professor? Is this not the portrait of a romance destined to end unrequited due to the cruel, cruel nature of the world?

Happily, in the case of this particular fan, she appeared to have finally managed to take a photo of her beloved. We can all finally exhale.
