When it comes to making live, televised acceptances speeches, there are a few unwritten rules. First, try not to trip on your way to the stage. Second, avoid swearing, and third, do your best not to alienate the organization presenting you with said award. While the cast of Pretty Little Liars managed to accomplish the first of these rules, it was the latter two where they struggled.
After winning the award for Favorite Cable TV Drama, Pretty Little Liars stars Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, Lucy Hale, and Ian Harding, and took to the stage. Bellisario began with a somewhat typical acceptance speech, thanking the producers, the cast, and the fans. Then, the standard "Please wrap it up" message appeared, to which she replied, "I'm not gonna wrap it up! Sorry, because I'm talking about the fans!"
