Whether worn oversized on a sweatshirt or as a diminutive, polka-dot-like pattern on a cocktail dress, fruit prints always feel fresh — which might explain why designers like Stella McCartney and Dolce & Gabbana can’t get enough of them. Next season’s sweetest take comes courtesy of Altuzarra, who sent cherry- and lemon-adorned pieces down his spring 2017 catwalk. While his collection was one of the most colorful and covetable ones shown at New York Fashion Week, its prices — which start around the $1,000 mark — might be hard to swallow for some.
