I’m not much of a dress person, so when I need to look more put together than usual, a jumpsuit is my go-to. It’s what I grab when I want to feel really good about myself, and the practicality of only having to worry about one piece isn’t bad, either. My high-and-low internet search for the one to take me through all of this year’s holiday commitments came to an easy end when I found the Jesse Kamm Kimono Jumpsuit.
I was familiar with the line because of the pants everyone has been wearing lately, (which, okay, are really great), and was happy to find the other pieces are just as good. The jumpsuit comes in a crisp ecru color as well as a really soft powder blue; both have a roomy fit that doesn’t sacrifice structure but reads really casual.
I love the versatility of it, too. You can wear it belted or not, layered over tights and a turtleneck or with nothing at all, and it looks great. For those reasons alone, I was ready to make the nearly $600 plunge. (Yikes, I know! I’m all about strategic investments now, people.) But what really got me, literally, was the blurb alongside the product page on the Jesse Kamm website that reads:
“100 PERCENT PERFECT. DO ENJOY THE FREEDOM TO MOVE YOUR BODY. PLEASE DO NOT BE AFRAID TO TRY OUT AT LEAST TWO HIGH KICKS.” Sold.
