Hate Tights? Wear Thigh High Boots Instead

They’re basically the same thing — but warmer.

Tights are pretty unavoidable in the colder months. If you’re not looking to wear pants everyday until April, you’re stuck with wearing less-than-thrilling stockings, whether you like it or not.

There’s plenty not to like about tights. They run and snag in record time, ride way up or fall down all day, and barely keep you warm. And you basically have to replace them every season.

Enter thigh high boots. This perfect — albeit unexpected — alternative to tights covers just as much skin and is definitely warmer. Pair them with a midi-skirt that just grazes the top of the boot, or wear them with an oversized warm sweater dress. The amount of upper thigh you want to show is up to you (and if the answer is none, just wear them over jeans).
