This is not a test. After months of waiting, Mansur Gavriel's very first shoe collection is finally available right now on Net-a-Porter.
So far only a select few styles and colors are available. Right now, Net-a-Porter has $395 suede mules and crisscross suede mules in burgundy and cobalt, and suede platform sandals and mules ranging from $475 to $625 in colors like black, rose, and brick.
Update: As of 11:30am, the pastel pink sandals have sold out in sizes 36 and 39, and the burgundy mules are running low in sizes 36 and 37.
"We're very excited that they're finally launching!" Floriana Gavriel told Vogue UK. "It feels like a long time in the making for us too. We're very careful and considered in how we release new product, and the shoes have been in development for at least three seasons. From the beginning of the brand we had an idea for lots of products and, although shoes felt like the natural evolution after the bags, we like any product we release to be very simple and very perfect."
Asides from the Net-a-Porter debut, Fashionista reports that Mansur Gavriel will also sell its shoe collection at Dover Street Market New York, Bergdorf Goodman, Opening Ceremony, Colette, Steven Alan Tribeca, Lane Crawford, and Mansur's own e-commerce site. All that will happen around the first week of March, although some retailers might run a pre-sale starting around February 24th.
