You could say it was a so-so week for Rihanna. In the cons list: she was forced to cancel her Grammy performance due to bronchitis and is pushing her tour back due to production difficulties. In the pros list are her newly unveiled Puma sneakers and her first fashion show, which was a resounding success.
Thankfully, we can keep those good times rolling with this behind-the-scenes video from the Rihanna x Puma runway show. The video shows models prepping backstage, the singer directing the action, and some chopped up soundbites from Rihanna.
You can hear the BadGal saying things like, "I love Japanese street culture," "It's a little bit surreal," "Everything came out way beyond my expectations," or "Nervous? No, I'm excited." Sounds about right.
You'll also recognize other famous figures, including Gigi Hadid as she walks in the show in an oversized coat and Anna Wintour making her way through a crowd.
The video — with its fast cuts, distorted colors, and panic-inducing music — can only be described in one word: intense! It's definitely the next best thing to actually being there. Watch the full video below.
