Kanye booked Madison Square Garden in order to premiere his new album AND clothing collection. However, all that still wasn't enough to beat Rihanna, who put together a killer first fashion show for Puma. *cues gif from Rihanna's "Work" video*
At least that's according to data from Twitter, which ran down the brands and designers who caused the biggest buzz this New York Fashion Week.
According to the data, Rihanna beat out every other designer in terms of sparking conversation. She was followed by, in order: Kanye, Malan Breton (a Project Runway contestant from 2006), Tommy Hilfiger, and Coach.
Twitter also ranked the most talked-about models, where Rihanna once again took the top stop. Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Lady Gaga, and Kylie Jenner took spots two through five in that order.
Meanwhile, Curalate also tracked Instagram stats for New York Fashion Week, recording the most-liked brand, beauty, and celebrity images.
Michael Kors, Forever 21, and Calvin Klein topped the brand rankings. MAC, Sephora, and Maybelline were top three for beauty. Most-liked celebrities images came out just as you would expect with posts from Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, and Kris Jenner leading the way. (The data is limited to images tagged with #NYFW.)
