The fashion calendar is shifting rapidly to keep up with the times, but some adjustments have led to bumps in the road. At least that's what one of fashion most visible figures, Anna Wintour, had to say in her wrap up of New York Fashion Week. Here we break down her NYFW likes and dislikes.

Dislike: NYFW

"I think we've all been a little let down by the collections," Wintour says in the video. "Maybe because of all the talk of moving the show schedule and where fashion is going. The fashion schedule hasn't moved in a long time and the world has so we have to move with it."

Wintour is, of course, referring to the handful of brands, including big names like Burberry and Tom Ford, that have adjusted their schedules to show immediately shoppable collections.

Wintour isn't all the grumpy Meryl Streep version of herself. She piled on kind words for brands like Rodarte, Proenza, Alexander Wang, Hood By Air, and Calvin Klein. She says these brands were willing to take risks when other brands didn't this season.

Like: Diversity

"One of the things I was so happy to see was a lot more diversity on the runway," she says. "At least in terms of where they come from, which is so important."

Like: Sports!

"I think the sports influence is continuing even more strongly than before." Fashion doppler Wintour forecasts even more athleisure in the coming months.
