For a few precious hours this weekend, Taylor Swift was relieved of the burden of being the most important person in the room. On Saturday, she acted as maid of honor for her childhood best friend Britany Maack at a ceremony in Pennsylvania.
"I met her when I was 10 days old and him in kindergarten," she wrote on Instagram. "Now they're married and I'm the happiest maid of honor ever. Congratulations @britmaack and Ben!"
As part of her duties, Swift wore a blush Reem Acra gown that complemented the rest of the bridal party's rose-and-gold color scheme. According to Vogue, the bride and Swift visited the designer's showroom together to choose their dresses.
Below, a few photos from the occasion, which somehow (presumably through the magic of Taylor Swift) managed to fall upon perfect weather in the middle of February.
