Interrupting your internal monologue that wonders "Has Leo gotten that thing he wants yet?" on loop, the 36th annual Razzies handed out awards for terrible movies last night. One guess who swept the show! Too late! It's 50 Shades of Grey! It was always going to be 50 Shades of Grey!
Jamie Dornan won worst actor and Dakota Johnson won worst actress. They both won worst screen combo. The adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel won worst screenplay. It managed to tie with Fantastic Four as the year's worst film, which should double as an extra Razzie because nobody likes a tie. That's five official dishonors.
Other actors managed to "win" awards as well, like Kaley Cuoco for worst supporting actress in Alvin & The Chipmunks: Road Chip or Eddie Redmayne for worst supporting actor in Jupiter Ascending. The festivities took place in the Palace Theater of Los Angeles, directly across the street from the Dolby Theater where the Academy Awards are taking place.
