Cindy Crawford might be pulling back from modeling, but her tween daughter's career is just getting started. At age 14, Kaia Gerber has already appeared in Vogue Italia, CR Fashion Book, Teen Vogue, and Interview. She also modeled for Versace's kids line when she was only 10 years old.
Now for her first major campaign, CR Fashion Book reports that Gerber is the face of LA-based accessories brand Chrome Hearts for spring 2016.
The supermodel's daughter probably has her pick of brands to model for, so why Chrome Hearts? It helps that the brand's co-owner Laurie Lynn Stark is a friend of the family. Stark also photographed the campaign, which shows Kaia wearing kooky sunglasses and wielding a garden hose in front of an industrial, urban backdrop.
Stark told CR Fashion Book: "Our families have been dear friends for so long so this was emotional for me—Kaia is an incredible talent, truly finding her own style as a model!"
Suki Waterhouse and Gigi Hadid have also modeled for Chrome Hearts recently, according to People StyleWatch, so Gerber is in good company. It's been a banner week for famous kids in the fashion industry as Brooklyn Beckham shot a Burberry campaign, much to the chagrin of, you know, actual photographers.
