Blogger, street style star, and wearer of an impeccable Carolina Herrera wedding skort Olivia Palermo is about to launch a collection with Nordstrom.

Palermo partnered with Nordstrom’s in-house brand, Chelsea 28 for a spring collection, which is out Monday, February 8th. The "Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28" encompasses 32 pieces, and Palermo promises that the line is full of wardrobe and workwear staples.

"It was important to start with life pieces, as I call them," Palermo told Vogue. "Taking a great navy wide-leg pant, for example, and being able to restyle it."

As seen in the lookbook, Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 leans toward culottes, jumpsuits, denim midiskirts, sleeveless trenches, and tailored blazers.

"I really like the military vest and the sleeveless suede trench from the collection because they are perfect layering pieces," Palermo told Racked San Francisco. "You can wear each one as a vest or as a dress, mixing them with other pieces in your wardrobe to create looks you can wear throughout the year. A statement coat or vest is always a focus for my personal look because I think a vest or jacket adds dimension and completely elevates an outfit."

Prices for the line start at $68. "I learned from my aunt that if it’s good, it’s good so it doesn’t have to be expensive," Palermo told Racked SF.

Palermo's previous design efforts include a collab with Aquazzura. Will she partner with Nordstrom again? "It’s a learning process," Palermo told Vogue. "We’re just getting into the groove of working together, and I’m looking forward to the response!"
