Jennifer Lawrence Went Businesslike at the Oscars Luncheon

The question of what to wear to a lunchtime event is often trickier than its evening counterpart. Luckily, however, the Oscars nominees have been tasked with navigating this very conundrum, and their answers are as diverse as the roles for which they've been nominated.

First up, Jennifer Lawrence proved she's serious about her whole "slutty power lesbian" vibe, wearing a black jumpsuit with a statement belt. In a similarly businesslike vein, Saoirse Ronan wore a plaid blazer with matching shorts, while nearly every dude in attendance — including Matt Damon, The Weeknd, Leo DiCaprio, and Eddie Redmayne — opted for generally nondescript suits in various shades of gray.

On the frillier end of the scale, Rachel McAdams wore a tweed, bright orange minidress, complete with a red bow. Alicia Vikander and Rooney Mara both chose flippy minidresses as well, while Brie Larson showed up in a pastel pink blouse and a matching (albeit eyeball-covered) skirt. See them all in the gallery above.
