Unlike other holidays, there isn't any rule regarding when it's kosher to bust out one's St. Patrick's Day outfit. Plastic spider rings are acceptable accessories throughout the month of October, while kitschy sweaters with jingle bells are cool as long as Thanksgiving is over. In the case of St. Patrick's Day, though, Kate Middleton has spoken. It's officially the season for wearing green.
During a visit to St. Thomas Hospital in London for her ongoing efforts with mental health, Kate Middleton wore a kelly green Erdem coat, which the Daily Mail reports she also wore in New Zealand in April 2014, then at the launch of the Tour de France that same year.
