Stella McCartney recruited Madonna's 19-year-old daughter Lourdes "Lola" Leon to be one of the faces of her brand's new perfume campaign. Lourdes has been doing the normal kid thing thus far, studying musical theater at the University of Michigan.
This is her first big foray into the spotlight and her first major modeling gig besides for Material Girl, Lourdes and Madonna's tween clothing line. "I have a lot of people judging my every move," she told Vogue. "It’s important for me to not let it rule my life.
In the ad, Lourdes has silvery purple hair and looks exactly like Madonna. As in, a Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber-level resemblance. Lourdes joins It Girls Grimes, Amandla Stenberg, and Kenya Kinski-Jones in the ad campaign.
Proud mom Madonna, a long-time friend of Stella McCartney, captioned Lourdes's photo on Instagram with a ton of emojis:
So happy to have Lola on the POP team! Lola, who I’ve known her entire life, is at the beginning of her career as a performance artist. She’s an independent, inspirational and free-spirited young woman. Despite being born in the spotlight, she has kept her feet firmly on the ground! X Stella #POPNOW #LolaLeon
