Someone from Aquazzura is calling out Ivanka Trump for blatantly copying Aquazzura's Wild Thing sandal, one of the most popular shoes of 2015.
The Fashion Law noticed that Aquazzura's official Instagram posted a photo last week of its $785 sandal next to Ivanka's $145 Hettie heel.
The caption reads: "One of the most disturbing things in the fashion industry is when someone blatantly steals your copyright designs and doesn't care. You should know better. Shame on you @ivankatrump! Imitation is NOT the most sincere form of flattery."
This isn't the first time Aquazzura's called out Ivanka Trump. Back in January, the brand's Instagram left a similar comment on Trump's account.
The Fashion Law thinks it'll be tough for Aquazzura to win in court over the shoe's design, and that publicly shaming Ivanka for copying might be the best option for now.
But it's not as though the Trump brand is the only affordable retailer knocking off this crazy popular shoe. Zara has a $69.90 version that's a carbon copy of Aquazzura's lower-heeled Wild Thing, and Banana Republic has a $148 heel with the same signature fringe.
Racked reached out Ivanka Trump's PR team for comment.
