Kim Kardashian is clearly not going to let sister Kylie Jenner have all the fun with this lip kit business. Jenner and Kardashian seem to be grappling for the most popular in the clan and the latter lined up makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury to capture a piece of the lipstick market, Cosmo UK reports.
The official Kim Kardashian lipstick is releasing as part of Tilbury's Hot Lips collection, which includes 11 other celeb-inspired shades. Kardashian's is a nude pink shade named Kim K.W.
"Kim is the queen of the nude lip, and this vintage-inspired pale pink nude makes lips look instantly fuller and irresistible," Tilbury tells Cosmo UK. "When she wears this color, she evokes the 1960's tartlets like Raquel Welch and Sophie Loren."
Fuller lips? Nude color? Tartlets? Just us or does this sound like it's stepping directly on the toes, err, lips of Kylie's lip kits, which launched with an assortment of nude shades.
Each shade in the Hot Lips collection is inspired by a celebrity and intends to "captures the personality of each of the 12 incredible women that [Tilbury] admires," according to the line's website. The full list of influencers includes Miranda Kerr, Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek, Kate Bosworth, Laura Bailey, Cindy Crawford, Helena Bonham-Carter, Liv Tyler, Emily Ratakjowski, Carina Lau, Poppy Delevingne
The collection launches on June 27th. For every purchase made, a donation will be made to the Women for Women charity foundation.
