Whatever Balenciaga's new creative director Demna Gvasalia has up his sleeve for the label's Paris Fashion Week show, you'll be able to watch it happen live, in 3D.
The French fashion house will put up a 360-degree livestream of Sunday's runway show for the fall 2016 collection. Fashion's been experimenting with virtual reality for some time, including the VR Rebecca Minkoff runway show video for Google Cardboard and VR headsets in stores at Tommy Hilfiger and Dior.
Here's how to tune in — in 3D — for Balenciaga's first runway show since Alexander Wang's departure, as Gvasalia, the face of the much-hyped design collective Vetements, steps into his role.
First, download the Balenciaga app in Apple's app store or Google Play. You can also use a headset for your phone to view the show, like Google Cardboard. The show will also be viewable for those without a headset as well.
Then tune in on Sunday, March 6th at 11:30am Central European Time (CET) or 5:30am EST. The one bummer: watching it live in 3D involves waking up very early on a weekend, if you're in the US.
If you prefer to watch on your desktop, there will also be a regular livestream at live.balenciaga.com.
