The American dream, Ikea-fied goes like this, maybe: A chicken in every pot and a cabana in every beachfront property. The Swedish retailer has taken it upon itself to democratize the cabana aspiration by offering up textiles for $5.99 per yard filed under a section titled, "Because everyone deserves a cabana." As I tweeted and texted my mom and said out loud to anyone at the office within earshot, I know at least four people who emphatically do not deserve a cabana.

When you click through the catalogue, the site doesn't elaborate on how to make the cabana or why the textiles are particularly suitable for cabana creation. Nobody said achieving the American dream was easy. And yet, after seeing the flimsy hut, you'll definitely want one.
The summer 2016 lookbook is above and the items are finally available on the site. (Sad warning: Many items are not available online and are only in select stores.)
