Empire continues to transcend its label as just a television show and make itself into much more of a fully-encompassing lifestyle brand. The show just announced it's releasing a makeup collaboration with CoverGirl and we can add that to the pile of notable brands its worked with, like Hood By Air and Deborah Lippmann.
The news was announced on Instagram with a picture of four of the show's leading women, Grace Gealey, Gabourey Sidibe, Serayah, and Kaitlin Doubleday. Uncharacteristically, Taraji P. Henson, who plays Cookie Lyon on the show, did not assert her power and demand to be included.
CoverGirl writes that the beauty collection is inspired by Empire's characters and will feature ways for fans to recreate beauty looks from the show throughout the season.
Empire and CoverGirl promise to announce more details about the collaboration throughout the season, which thankfully starts soon on March 30th.
