The first trailer for the all-female remake of the '80s classic Ghostbusters is finally here, and as a surprise to no one, it's great.
In an unusual twist, however, it appears that Melissa McCarthy is playing the "straight man" character as a scientist and paranormal expert. Kristen Wiig plays a quantum physics genius, Kate McKinnon is a brilliant engineer, and Leslie Jones is an MTA employee who knows all of the city's underground tunnels (she also supplies the squad with transportation, i.e. a hearse).
Other things this trailer has: a hilarious exorcism scene between Leslie Jones and Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig getting slimed by a ghost, and Chris Hemsworth — who plays the sexy secretary — sexily kicking down a door. While the film doesn't premiere until July 15th, watch the trailer below.
