Time Inc. is bringing a few of its fashion and beauty brands together under the InStyle banner, with a snazzy new name. According to an internal memo, XoJane and XoVain will be a part of "The InStyle Collection" starting in April, along with newish beauty site Mimi and fashion site The Outfit.
Time Inc. purchased XoJane and XoVain last October, and now it's going to step up the number of stories InStyle syndicates from xoJane. Editor Jane Pratt will also report to InStyle Editorial Director Ariel Foxman, who will oversee all the sites in "The InStyle Collection."
Mimi is going to become a channel on InStyle.com, while maintaining its own social feeds. New verticals devoted to weddings, home, and entertaining will also launch on InStyle.com. The memo has it that these moves will double the volume of original content published on InStyle.com going forward.
