Beyoncé is the cover star for Elle's May issue. Surprise! JK. You probably knew that given Elle's 24-hour Beyonce countdown yesterday. The real news here is the superstar's new activewear line, Ivy Park—which Topshop promised the world what feels like years ago. And also, B gives an interview.
Not even Vogue got an interview when Bey appeared on its cover (nor did the New York Times), but for Elle the singer talks about "about freedom, feminism, how her new fashion line, Ivy Park, helps women love their bodies, and more."
Elle is savvy, and thus making the most out of B. On Monday, it will release a sneak peek of the cover story. The next day, April 5th, subscribers will have the opportunity to see a digital issue of the magazine. It will officially hit newsstands the next day, April 6th.
There are at least two covers. Beyoncé shared the other on her Instagram.
