Over the weekend, a totally normal family went on an average ski trip, where they had an adorable snowball fight and took lovely photographs. That family was Prince William and Kate Middleton's, who vacationed in an undisclosed location in the French Alps, brought just one photographer, and managed to keep the entire trip a secret from the British press until hours after they'd already returned.

According to the Daily Mail, photographer John Stillwell was the sole invited member of the press on the trip, which began last Wednesday. To keep the details a secret, the family likely took a private jet and have not revealed the exact town they visited.

What is for sure: The trip marked Prince George's first time playing in the snow (which, if his facial expression in the above photo is to be believed, the reviews are rather meh), and is also the first official sighting of 10-month-old Princess Charlotte's two new bottom teeth.

The best of the bunch, however, may be Kate and Will's royal snowball fight. Below, the rest of the released photos.
