Prince George's Reviews of Snow, Peter Pan Collars, Other Babies, and More

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Prince George, he of the tiny backpacks and elbow patches, may not be the best-dressed royal in the world (that title belongs to a four-year-old in Sweden), but he does hold a different distinction: owner of the sassiest facial expressions.

Because he's just two years old, Prince George has yet to be trained in the art of the perma-polite smile all royals share, and therefore is the only member of the monarchy who can truly, honestly express an opinion through his face.

The most recent of these came this morning, when his family released photographs of their ski trip to the French Alps. Though it marked Prince George's first experience with snow, the reviews were in: it's okay.

Below, Prince George reviews other things, from adorable Australian marsupials to chewing on his mother's hair.

A less fun way to exercise than rolling down a hill.

Less fun than sports.
