On Paris Fashion Week:
"I've been attending Paris Fashion Week every season since I moved to New York to work as a PR assistant at Yves Saint Laurent. I've worked at four magazines and have since gone freelance, so needless to say, it has been a very long love affair. Paris is easily one of my favorite cities. Even though I know it very well, there is always something new to discover: an exhibit, store, designer, restaurant, bar. Not to mention, it is also the home of many of my favorite fashion houses. Paris has the most incredible energy, some of the biggest shows, and the most important brands show here. "
Greetings From Paris
"The weather in Paris has been quite the disappointment — a mix of rain, sporadic snow showers and a chill factor that has me missing NYC. But on Tuesday the skies opened up just in time for two of my favorite shows: Chanel and Valentino. In the words of Rihanna 'I've been waiting on that sunshine boy, you know I need that back.' Word."
Wearing Chanel to Chanel
"Suited and booted and feeling like a boss on International Womens Day."
At The Chanel Show
"The Chanel show is one of the most coveted show tickets during all of fashion weeks. Hosted at the Grand Palais, the entire experience is pure magic. The sets, the clothes, the models — it's always unforgettable. It's Paris."
Omelettes at Angelina's
"One of my fashion week highlights is being able to spend time with friends that I don't get to see on the regular. We made a quick pit stop at Angelina's, famous for their rich and velvety hot chocolate and melt in your mouth omelettes."
Up Close and Personal With Dior
"Seeing a collection up close gives you a greater understanding and deeper outlook to what went down the runway. Being able to feel the fabrics and see the accessories in person is not just a beautiful experience but helps to plan stories or strategize styling through the season.
The jewelry at Dior was incredible and I couldn't resist trying on this off-the-shoulder fur that I loved when I saw it come down the runway."
Azede Jean-Pierre Appointment
"One of my last appointments was to view the Azede Jean-Pierre collection which took place in a beautiful townhouse. Nicole Chapoteau and I took a quick second to have a coffee and rest our feet."
Front Row at Valentino
"Ballerina nudes just floating down the Valentino runway. Yes. #balletbeautiful."
Caviar Dinner
"I never knew how much I would crave caviar and a baked potato until I experienced dinner at Caviar Kaspia. Now a tradition with a select group of friends, it's always a highlight of my trip. I don't deviate — a Bellini with smoked salmon, a bite of someone's crab salad, and the Emperial potato with caviar finished off with lots of vodka and a Honey Vodka to end the night. "
After the Party is the After Party
"I ended the night in a lace Valentino dress layered over a Proenza crop top and AGolde jeans dancing on couches at the Valentino event. Winning."
