If the April issue of W is giving you flashbacks to the high school cafeteria, that's because the magazine decided to put the cool table on its cover. In a story entitled "Dream Teens," stars Zendaya, Kiernan Shipka, and Willow Smith discuss their respective careers in show business, their relationship to fashion, and more.
Specifically, Zendaya discussed her special edition Barbie doll, while Kiernan talked about the difficulties of having to smoke a cigarette on Mad Men. (It was herbal, but the first time she tried it, she accidentally smoked it backwards.) Willow Smith arrived on set with her hair dyed blue and embellished with giant safety pins. Explaining the look, she says, "I was in my bathroom yesterday and saw some safety pins on the counter and was just like, ‘Let me stab a dread real quick.' When I did it, I was like, ‘Oh, this is dope.'"
It wouldn't be a teen interview without a robust discussion on crushes, however. In a video, all three girls named their biggest celebrity heartthrobs, which ranged from Johnny Depp to both Blue Is the Warmest Color stars Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos. To watch the full video and to see Willow Smith pronounce "Exarchopoulos," see here.
