How many hands did it take to lace Kendall Jennner into her bum-high sandals? At least four, according to Instagram.

Though the MTV Movie Awards air Sunday night, the stars (and not-so-stars) pulled on their jumpsuits and sequins on Saturday night for a pre-taped show that caught the Internet off guard.

Kind of like Kendall Jenner's outfit. Sexy's what we've come to expect from the 20-year-old Jenner, yes, but the reality TV star-turned-model inched closer to the Red Room than ever before last night, lacing herself in leather from head to toe.

team work.

Stylist Monica Rose put Jenner in DSquared2 gladiator sandals that wrapped from toe to upper thigh— Jenner had to hold them up halfway down the red carpet—and a dress by relatively unknown designer Kristian Aadnevik.

The London-based Norwegian-born Aadnevik has an impressive resume, having worked for Alexander McQueen, Roberto Cavalli, and Versace. Though Rihanna and Madonna have worn his clothes, only one collection's earned a spot in Vogue UK's archives, and not even that has showed up on Vogue Runway.

The black chiffon and python dress that Jenner wore last night is from Aadnevik's spring 2016 collection and if it looks familiar, it's because Lily Collins already wore it—to a Golden Globes after-party in January.
