Ryan Reynolds Wore a Sweater Vest to the MTV Movie Awards, Because He’s a Dad

Ryan Reynolds, star of Deadpool and winner of two awards at last night’s MTV Movie Awards, is smoking hot. That’s an undeniable fact. In 2010, People named him "Sexiest Man Alive." This year, however, the same publication bestowed him with the title of "Sexiest Dad Alive." Because, in case you missed it, Reynolds welcomed his first child with wife Blake Lively in early 2015. And now, everything he says, does, wears, and tweets — while still sexy — also smacks of fatherhood.

So it feels fitting that to accept his Best Fight and Best Comedic Performance statuettes tonight, Reynolds showed up in a nondescript beige sweater vest — so dadly! — and a navy zip-up mackintosh jacket. He also cracked an embarrassing dad joke on the podium while thanking his wife Blake Lively: "Everything I do is to make her laugh, especially the sex."
