While the rest of the world watches the MTV Movie Awards broadcast, the nerdier parts of Los Angeles are congregating for the season six premiere of Game of Thrones. Tonight at the Chinese Theater, the (many, many) stars of the show are walking the red carpet wearing very different outfits than the ones they wear in the series, which returns to HBO this month.
At least most of them are. Sansa Stark, a.k.a. Sophie Turner, showed up in a berry-hued one-shoulder gown and crown braids that would fit right in with the ladies of King's Landing. In contrast, little sister Arya (Maisie Williams) wore a very modern bandeau top and a tea-length skirt.
