The best thing about skating — whether ice or roller — is that it's a great equalizer. No one looks particularly graceful doing it unless they've had years of practice, and if there's anything in which to take comfort in the world, it's that Beyoncé doesn't, either.
In a series of video promos for her new activewear collection, the Ivy Park designer does things like hang upside down on some monkey bars, dance in the rain, and school her production crew on baseball cap styling, saying, "In New York they don't bend the brim."
In one of these promos, Beyoncé begins by gliding around seductively on roller skates in a wet blonde messy bun and a blue matching set. She ends, however, with a very real and therefore very adorable near-fall, during which the production crew naturally has a momentary heart attack:
Beyoncé, goddess, is okay of course — she ends the video by laughing, "You wanted the shot? You got it." Beyoncé: Not always graceful, but still more graceful than the rest of us.
