Moschino designer Jeremy Scott will present the fashion house's resort 2017 show in his hometown as the headliner for Made's brand-new LA event.
The NYFW cool hunters behind Made are decamping to Los Angeles on June 10th and 11th for Made LA. The two-day event will also feature the men's spring Moschino 2017 show and a presentation of musician Tyler, The Creator's fashion line, Golf Wang. Made's also putting on a market too, featuring more than 30 pop-up shops from designers and artists.
Made Fashion Week was acquired by its NYFW competitor IMG last year, now Made's expanding to Los Angeles just as brands like Burberry, Saint Laurent and Tom Ford are putting on events and shows there too.
The benefits of showing in LA might be even more obvious for Scott, who gave an interview to Vogue about the show from Coachella. "As I show my own show in NYC and Moschino in Milan and London for the men’s, I’ve never had the luxury of doing a show in the city I live in and getting to sleep in my own bed that night!" he said.
