Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Hillary Clinton cast her vote in the New York primary elections near her home in Chappaqua wearing a coat of many colors. Not the coat of many colors from award winning made-for-TV movie by Dolly PartonThe Coat of Many Colors, or the coat of many colors from Joseph, son of Jacob, of the Bible. But it's close!

Casting her vote is a non-speaking event for the most part, so Clinton can let the clothes do the talking for her. This is a departure from previous appearances (like debates) where she pared all the way down, so her clothing wouldn't be the focus for the media, Twitter, and media Twitter. This outfit says, go vote! And also, look I'm voting! Here's the full look:

She's leaning hard into the long top over pants look, which is on trend, professional, and very, very Hillary.
