Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Four of our favorite direct-to-consumer brands have joined forces to create the ultimate travel essentials online shop at packyourbag.co. Beginning today, and lasting for just a month, shop vacation selects from grooming company Harry's, activewear line Outdoor Voices, and womenswear brand AYR, all packed inside the near-perfect carry-on suitcase from new travel brand Away.
The suitcase (which has a battery to charge phones and such, on the go) comes in four colors and goes for $225. From there, you add whatever travel goods you need/want/desire: Away is offering a limited-edition blanket/scarf (named "Blarf," for better or worse) made of alpaca for $125; Harry's has a travel set for $35, exclusive to Pack Your Bag; from Outdoor Voices you can add sweatpants, a hoodie, leggings, and/or a racerback tank ($55-$100); and AYR is selling its drapey robe coat ($485) in a versatile charcoal color.
Delivery is free nationwide, and NYC customers can get complimentary same-day delivery via UberRUSH. Pack Your Bag will pack its bags (err, be gone) May 20th.
